Regional Sales Manager

Role Overview

This Regional Leadership Position will be executing our collective vision of growing market share, elevating customer engagement, coaching and mentoring our outside sales representatives, and exceeding our measurable sales targets. In addition to the sales initiatives above, there will be regular communication with our quotes, operations, marketing, and procurement teams sharing customer feedback and expectations positioning our platform for sustained success.

On-Site Job

Bakken/Rockies Region includes and is not limited to Williston (ND), Killdeer (ND), and Stanley (ND) as well as surrounding areas.

Essential Duties

  • Region-focused sales effort with progressive account strategies and territory management ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Daily engagement with outside sales team creating a force multiplier to exceed our sales targets and collective organizational goals.
  • Actively involved in the onboarding of sales representative’s orientation and training programs.
  • Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings that include training and market development.
  • Using our in-house software platforms to assist with the recommended daily salesperson interactions.
  • Working as an industry ambassador promoting the Venturi family of branches across regions.
  • Assisting sales reps and branches with bids/proposals, contract negotiations, closing sales, and developing marketing plans for existing and new customers.
  • Continued education on new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
  • A valuable resource for branches and sales reps regarding questions and customer needs.
  • Execute a plan that involves mapping customer accounts with a vision of calling vertically at the corporate level.


Bachelor’s degree preferred; Advanced degree is a plus.


5+ years of sales experience in a similar industry is preferred.


  • Strong communication skills with business acumen and the ability to coach and develop talent.
  • Tactful and proficient presentation and writing skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and lead data-driven decisions.
  • Intermediate level MS Office Suite: Distribution-specific ERP system experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.
  • Regional travel required.
