Administrative Support Specialist

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide general administrative support to all departments as required. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, accustomed to multitasking, and solve problems with a friendly and helpful approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound phone calls while directing calls to the appropriate parties
  • Welcome and greet visitors
  • Retrieve and distribute mail daily
  • Manage postage
  • Assist with new customer set up and existing customer credit references
  • Manage office supply inventory
  • Assist with the invoicing process
  • Assist with Accounts Payable support
  • Assist with administrative data management projects as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

Experience

  • Prior office administration experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience using business email services, such as Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
